I liked the end of chapter 6 with suzanne stark. Her study of plants and specimen contributed to her career as an artist. "My whole worldview centers on the awareness of other lives."
She also mentioned something that applies to us during our critiques. She says she hopes that her work will elicit important questions, but "the first communication begins as purely visual experience. The conceptual sneaks in there after the eye is seduced."
