Colors

I'm enjoying the section about colors. I never paid much attention to color sequence before because I thought it would just come naturally, but when I tried to take a painting class at CBC, I discovered I really didn't understand. It is ok to put two not so harmonious colors in the same painting because it brings up not so harmonious feelings in its viewers, and that's ok too.

I especially enjoyed Wolf Kahn [Corpse II, 1992]. As I said, expansive spaces appeal to me, and even more so, secretive expansive spaces. I don't know how long this forest would go on, but I would want to go! The use of those purples is also appealing to me, this would be a piece I would buy!
