Richard Haas painted a mural on the side of Oregon History Center, altering our view drastically. This was a manipulation of visual texture and shading. It spans 8 whole stories!
I found the Value and Lighting section of particular interest for the sole reason of the movie stills at the back of the chapter. Not having seen this before, it makes me want to, but I would also like to see live shows for the lighting positions. This film still was a good example of lighting to me. It discussed the lighting most effective for villains or for making some of the main characters approach light and divine.
